Golden linseed is gently pressed to produce linseed oil, and the resulting press
cake is ground into homogeneous flour. Linseed flour is low in fat and contains
almost no carbohydrates but is high in fibre and protein. This makes it an ideal
building block for baking bread and pastries. It should be noted during use that
the linseed flour will swell considerably when water is added.
